Coffee Works
Voorhees, N.J.

A break from performing through much of the winter afforded Dom the time to get more new material ready for 2012. The first long show of the year had debuts of very recently completed originals in each set, plus another run at tweaks to many others. Dom also tried some new song pairings and orders, in anticipation of a mythical recording project that might be more than a myth some day.

The brand-spanking-new tunes are "Honest Eyes (Hey La La)" in the Folk set; "Let's Pretend" in the Rock set; and "Songs About You," a heavily rewritten old piece that was turned into a blues song and slotted in the middle of the final hour. The Blues set was all originals.
