Coffee Works
Voorhees, N.J.

The year's final scheduled performance at Coffee Works was five days after veterans Day and six days before Thanksgiving, offering a chance to mark the holidays in song. "Thankful" (for Thanksgiving) preceded a pair of tunes from, Remember Me: New, Original Folk Music for the American Soldier, to form a mini block of themed tunes in the Folk set.

The first hour of this all-originals gig also included "Blueberry Wine" moving over from the Blues set, where it usually had gone during Rock, Folk & Blues nights. The transfer seemed to go well! Not to worry about the Blues roster, though, as a new song called "Not Bad Ain't Good Enough" made its show debut in the last set. In the middle, 10 Rock songs filled the busiest hour of what was a better-than-average night, crowdwise.

All things considered -- a new song, some different placements, holidays, all originals, lots of listeners -- this was a great way to cap another year of appearances at Coffee Works!
