Coffee Works
Voorhees, N.J.

The year's first long gig got booked a few hours before showtime, thanks to a phone call asking if Dom could be a last-minute substitute on this Friday night. With no chance to prepare any cover tunes for the night, it became an all-Dom-originals performance (those are the best kind!).

Better still, a few show debuts of songs took place: "Dance With Me" (Folk set), a bluesier rewrite of "Not Bad Ain't Good Enough" (Blues set), and "Splash of Violet" (Blues set). Also, "Geneseo" hadn't made a playlist in a long time, but crept into the Rock hour this night! "Bar Side of the Room" being listed twice -- nearly three hours apart -- is not a typo; a kind listener who heard it open the first set, asked to hear it again for some late-arriving friends.
